Programs by Age
As a Christian center, we are very intentional in our spiritual emphasis. While this does not mean we are seeking in any way to indoctrinate the children under our care, it does mean that we want every child to see him or herself as a child of God, to find wonder in God’s good creation and to know that God loves us the way we are.
Our Program
What will your child be doing at Mt. Nebo Christian Learning Center? Plenty!
A typical day includes lots of opportunities for growth and exploration. Your little one might spend time painting or reading, playing games, having snack, singing, drawing or attending field trips. Each day your child will learn about God.

- School Age – before and after care for School Age children through grade 5
- Summer care for School Age children through grade 5
- Outdoor Classroom – for children attending Kindergarten the following year.

Infant Care
We are currently accepting applications from interested families. Below are the required forms you will need to provide in order to complete an infant application.
Preschool Full Day
Mt. Nebo Christian Preschool offers fun, exciting learning opportunities for preschool-age children in our Full Day Programs.
Full Day – Preschool & Educational Daycare
Our Preschool Program is an educational daycare offered to children ages 2 through 5. The program consists of weekly or monthly themes based around curriculum for each age group. Age appropriate field trips are scheduled frequently. Tuition costs include two snacks.
We offer full time enrollment (Monday – Friday).
Care is available from 6am – 6pm. If 50 hours of care or more are required, there is an additional charge. See the Tuition Rates page for details.
2 Year Olds
Preschool curriculum is taught from 9am – 11:30 am. Our 2 year old classes have one teacher per 6 children.
- Full Time – 5 days, under 50 hours (Monday through Friday)
- Full Time – 5 days, 50 hours and over (Monday thru Friday)
3 Year Olds
Preschool curriculum is taught from 9:30am – 11:30am and 3:30pm – 4:30pm. Our 3 year old classes have one teacher per 10 students.
- Full Time – 5 days, under 50 hours (Monday thru Friday)
- Full Time – 5 days, 50 hours and over (Monday thru Friday)
4 & 5 Year Olds
Pre-K curriculum is taught from 9:30am – 11:30am and 3:30 – 4:30pm. Classes have a maximum of 10 children to 1 teacher.
Full Day:
- Full Time – 5 days, under 50 hours (Monday thru Friday)
- Full Time – 5 days, 50 hours and over (Monday thru Friday)
Children age 4 and up are required to be toilet trained before their first day of enrollment.
School Age After School Care Program
Children in grades Kindergarten through 5th will have opportunities to do homework, play quiet or active games, relax, build friendships, do crafts, attend field trips, read or just have fun. School age classes have a maximum of 15 children to 1 teacher.
AM care is available from 6am until the Washington County Public School (WCPS) bus arrives at 7:20am to attend Boonsboro Elementary School.
PM care is available from 2:30pm until 6pm.
Mt. Nebo’s after school care program offers daily transportation from the following schools to attend our after school program:
- Pleasant Valley Elementary
- Sharpsburg Elementary

Daily care is available during those times Washington County Public Schools close for in-service days, certain holidays, winter weather, or delayed openings.
Please refer to the calendar for the holidays and in-service days that Mt. Nebo will be closed, and therefore childcare services will not be provided.
