Billing:

Weekly tuition and fees must be paid in full by close of business on Monday. If Mt. Nebo is closed on Monday, tuition is due by close of the next business day. On Tuesday, a late fee of $5 is assessed weekly for accounts with a balance over $15. There are no exceptions to this policy.

For any account that is 31 days in arrears, or has a past due balance of more than $500, the child or children will be withdrawn from Mt. Nebo until the account can be paid in full.

Field trip fees will be billed to your child’s account if they participate. Field trip fees maybe incurred if your child signs up and does not attend. Please contact Gail Smith with any billing questions at 301-432-6042 or email her at billing@mtnebocp.org.

 

Registration:

Please drop off and pick up your child within the times you selected when enrolling your child. Contact the office if changes are needed.

Our half day sessions begin at 8:30 am. Teachers will be in their classroom ready to take responsibility of their children by 8:25 am. If you need care before this time, please stop by the office to make arrangements.

Make sure to turn in any updated immunization records as your child attends their annual check up. All address and phone number changes MUST be given to the office immediately.

Prior approval by the Director is required for part time children to attend school on days they are not scheduled. Please return your parent handbook agreement by September 1st. If you did not receive a parent handbook, please pick one up at the office.

 

Procedures:

Our morning opening room will be the 2 yr. old classroom until 7 am. At 7 am, children 3 and older will be taken to the FLC (gym) until each teacher arrives.

The parking lot entrance from Main Street will be closed from daily from 7 am until 6 pm. This is for the safety of our children when playing on our playground equipment. PLEASE do not move these barricades.

Please do not allow your child to bring toys from home. Teachers may ask for an educational item to be brought from home for show and tell. No electronic devices are allowed.

Children should not be using the keypad to enter the building nor signing in and out of Procare.

 

Tuition Policies:

Once enrolled, weekly tuition rates are due regardless of attendance. We require a 2 week written notice of withdrawal or enrollment changes. Otherwise, there is a 2 week obligation of the current tuition. Enrollment is acceptance of our school policies.

Tuition is due for the stated holidays. Tuition is not due for closings due to inclement weather, staff training, or winter break.

After Hours Pick Up Policy
The preschool operates from 6am until 6pm. A $5 per minute fee will be assessed for each child still in care after 6pm.

Tuition Payment Policy
Tuition may be paid via check, money order, or online via PayPal. Weekly tuition must be received by the close of business Monday for the same week of care. Any balance over $15.00 not paid in full by Tuesday will be assessed a $5 late fee. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Flexible Spending Account Statement Policy
Parents requesting a report to submit for reimbursement through their flexible spending account must be made to billing@mtnebocp.org. The director will not sign these forms.

Payment Plan Policy
We are pleased to offer a payment plan for school-agers that will attend Before and/or After Care during the school year AND Full Time Weekly Care during the summer. It is designed to ease the burden of the increased tuition during the summer. The payment plan is a consistent tuition amount paid for 52 consecutive weeks. Parent’s may choose this option beginning the first day of school. If parents opt in later, the missed weeks must be paid immediately. The payment plan does not include the field trip fees.

 

Check In & Check Out Procedures:

Check In

Vehicles may enter the parking lot by the Mt. Nebo Main Street entrance. Please only use the designated handicap parking spots if warranted. Your child/children MUST be escorted into the building, checked in to the ProCare System, and escorted to the designated arrival area. Let the appropriate staff member know that you are entrusting your child to their care. Children must never be left without direct transfer to the appropriate staff member. Check in time is no earlier than 6:00 am. Door codes and Procare codes are for the use of adults only.

Check Out

After 7:00am, you must enter our parking lot via Reeder’s Alley. This is to ensure the safety of the children during playground time. Always let your child’s teacher know that you are leaving with your child. Children will only be released to parents or those the parents have designated in writing. Designated persons may only be changed by the parent. A driver’s license will be matched against the list of names which have been provided. Please notify the Director if there are any custody issues we should be aware of.

In emergency situations, if a parent needs someone not listed as a designated person to pick up their child, the parent must speak with the Director or Admin. Asst. and provide verbal authorization. That person must stop in the office first, and provide a photo id to the Director or Administrative Assistant.

Children must be checked out of the Procare system by an adult. Exit the building through the main preschool door. If your child is on the playground, we ask that only staff members are permitted to open the playground gate. Communicate with the supervising staff to let them know you are assuming responsibility of the child.

Check out time is NO LATER than 6:00 pm. An After Hours pick up fee of $5 per minute per child will be assessed if your child is not picked up by 6:00 p.m.
